The invitation you wanted
You are checking LinkedIn in your fluffy slippers when they invite you to speak. It is the right organisation, the right audience and a subject you have spent years developing real expertise in.
For a moment, you feel excited. This could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
And just like that, your heart sinks.
You are visible enough to be invited, credible enough to be trusted with the audience and experienced enough to deliver real value. But you are not yet being consistently positioned, approached or paid at the level your expertise deserves.
That is the gap we are going to close.
Expertise is not the problem
The speaking market does not automatically reward the person with the most experience. It rewards the expert whose relevance and value are easiest for a buyer to understand.
A powerful story can move an audience, but a corporate buyer still needs to connect it to a relevant message and meaningful outcome.
Being bookable means making it easy for organisers to understand what you do, why it matters and what they can confidently book you for. A broad list of topics can make that decision harder. A beautifully delivered talk may earn applause without generating another enquiry, contract or paid booking. What changes everything is a compelling proposition that connects your message to the audience, your wider ambitions and the buyer approving the budget.
Becoming booked and paid requires more than confidence, charisma or a perfectly rehearsed keynote.

Imagine being ready
Your positioning is clear. Your biography reflects the depth of your experience. Your talks, workshops and training options are easy to understand. Your evidence builds confidence.
You are no longer waiting for someone to discover what makes you valuable. You are positioned so the right decision-makers can recognise it.
The complete positioning system
The decision to book you is made long before you reach the stage. You must be compelling to the audience and commercially credible to the buyer.
Use your experiences, insights and unique point of view to build trust, create emotional connection and move an audience without making every private experience public.
Turn talks, workshops and training into authority assets that create content, start conversations and lead to clients, partnerships and further bookings.
Position your expertise through the eyes of corporate buyers, organisers and brand partners assessing relevance, credibility, risk and outcomes.
The Stage Value framework
Getting paid to speak does not mean saying no to every opportunity without a fee. It means knowing exactly why you are saying yes.
You will distinguish between paid, strategic, sponsored and vanity stages so you stop treating every invitation as though it offers equal value.
The goal is not to speak everywhere. It is to make better decisions about where, why and on what terms you speak.
The fee, expenses, commercial value and potential for additional paid work.
Who will hear you, how relevant they are and whether they can act on your message.
The credibility, evidence and positioning the stage can add to your brand.
The relationships, buyers, partners and decision-makers the opportunity can place you alongside.
The transformation
You are not trying to become an expert. You already are one. The shift is learning how to package, communicate and position that expertise so the right people recognise its value.
What you will leave with
The programme is designed to help you make decisions and build the foundations buyers need, not simply collect more information.

Meet your programme lead
I am a personal branding and business strategist, speaker and award-winning entrepreneur who understands the speaker’s experience, the organiser’s responsibility and the buyer’s commercial decision.
I have worked with and spoken for organisations including Meta, Selfridges, Mercedes-Benz, Lloyds Bank and HSBC. As a TEDx organiser, judge and curator, I know what happens behind the scenes when speakers and experts are selected.
I understand the speaker’s experience, the organiser’s responsibility and the buyer’s commercial decision.
I have built the credibility, relationships and body of work that result in invitations rather than constantly chasing stages. I also know what it feels like to enter rooms where you are the first, the youngest or the only Black woman at the table.
I will help you position the experiences that make your perspective valuable with intention.
